If you're planning a romantic night out in Birmingham and in need of some dining inspiration then I've got you! I've got the scoop on five great date night restaurants you should visit. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or simply craving some quality time together, these spots are guaranteed to set the mood for a memorable evening. So, grab your partner's hand, bring your appetite, and let's dive into Birmingham's culinary scene for a date night to remember!

  1. Qavali - if you're a fan of Indo-Persian cuisine then Qavali is for you! Located on Broad Street, step through the doors of Qavali and prepare to be enchanted by its warm ambiance and welcoming atmosphere. The restaurant's rustic decor and intricate patterns, sets the stage for an unforgettable dining experience. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or simply craving a taste of authenticity, Qavali promises to delight your senses from start to finish. I've tried the Champagne Brunch and Afternoon Tea and both did not disappoint. I would definitely recommend booking online before you go!

  2. Orelle - how does dining with a 360 city view of birmingham sound? Located on the 24th on Colmore Row, Orelle serves French cuisine incorporating both modern and classic dishes. From the moment you step through the door, you'll be greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere, complete with soft lighting and cosy seating arrangements. Orelle sets the stage for a memorable date night experience. But it's not just the ambiance that makes Orelle stand out—it's the food! Prepare to tantalise your taste buds with a mouthwatering selection of dishes crafted with care and creativity. And let's not forget about the drinks! Orelle offers an impressive array of cocktails, wines, and spirits to complement your meal perfectly.

  3. Tabu - underground dining anyone? Visit Tabu, located in the Jewellery Quarter serving up Pan Asian cuisine. Choose from small dishes ranging from sushi, meat and vegetarian dishes. Visit on the weekends and you'll enjoy a live dj and entertainment. This is also perfect for group dining or double dates as you can get your own intimate seating booths. I really liked the interior, decor and the intimate dining. Please note, if you're going on weekends, it can get really busy and the service was slightly slow.

  1. Bank - Indulge in a romantic evening at The Restaurant Bar and Grill in Birmingham. Nestled in the heart of the city, overlooking the canal, this chic spot offers a sophisticated ambiance perfect for date night. Savour delectable dishes crafted from the finest ingredients, complemented by an extensive wine list. With its stylish decor and impeccable service, The Restaurant Bar and Grill sets the stage for a memorable dining experience with your special someone.

  1. The Mayan - The Mayan is located in the Mailbox, serving up savoury tacos and sizzling fajitas to zesty ceviche. Each dish is a culinary masterpiece full of flavour. The interior is warm, stylish and modern. Enjoy food from the main menu or indulge in a bottomless brunch! I really enjoyed my experience at The Mayan, the service and the staff were really friendly and inviting. It is one of my favourite spots for the perfect date night!
